Youll never get any correction with a DA/ R/O/ PC!!!

Uh... that guy should maybe check out autopia once per year... or once per decade at the minimum.

If you're a member over there... link 'em to this so they can see what a even a "newbie girl" can do with a random orbital:

Well, Im an Audi man for the time being, but one day Ill own one of those badboy scoobies. As to that person, well, I think that he's had a change of mind since then, or, that he will eventually- even the most stubborn prideful person can have a change of heart when they see that there are real alternatives to doing things.

Just as an aside, Im one of the few folks that tried working with the surbufs a few years back, and did not have a productive experience with them. I talked to the folks that make these, as well as TOL, and thought maybe I wasnt doing it right, So again I tried, and again, I had a bad experience. After that, I just put up the last box I had osomewhere and stuck to the foams and wools. But efter reading your post(s), I think Ill be putting down the rotary, and give them another try. Hopefully, Ill get it right this time.

A lot has changed!

The Surbuf's for severe corrections (they were never touted by Surbuf for this)... the Meguiar's Microfiber Discs... and of course, the compounds.

When you are ready to try again, I am more than happy to coach you through the basics.

The thing is... you'l probably be able to put the pad to paint, and make it happen very easily.

Ive already got my first project lined up. My dad is giving up his older car, a 69 skylark. Hard-assed clear from back in 95. I tried to work on it many years ago, but I didnt do as good a job as I thought I did. Plus, it got some heavy roof tar on it, so Ill be trying out some other stuff on it. Gonna have to take my time on it, as I messed up my back real bad forcing me to work very slow. But Ill be sure to pick your brains on this project when i finally get to buffing this monster out.:bigups:
