So, there really IS a Merlin who does these photos of palm tree reflections in his impeccably detailed vehicles. I just thought Merlin was a magical, mythical detailer (kind of like the name).
Tropical locations do have their flora advantages, until I realized that these palm trees were created (or evolved, for those so inclined) to survive intense heat and humidity and literal hurricane winds. Nope, I`ll take my Wisconsin sugar maples and the syrup and bright orange fall leaves they provide along with the four distinct seasons (although -10°F winter Packer football is insane. Ask the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the past).
OK, someone will ask, "What wax did you use??"

You missed an important part
I should have placed more emphasis on the "long wait" part of it.
I DID, however, try capturing something similar, but the stinking color of the panel I was working on was sort of a light blue. NOT good for Merlin-type shots
