You wax your glass shower door

I just waxed my side windows so they repel my neighbors sprinklers... I decided to quickly do my shower glass as an experiment to see how long the wax sticks (I'm using Petes 53)...

So whats your OCD story?

I have done my sinks, bathtub, and the glass door for the stand up shower.

I didn't just wax these, I polished them also :help:

stove, new dish washer, new front loader, bathroom mirror and sink, and sorta the work van(i used to QEW and IW it, when i would have to wait for people.)...

oh, yeah i forgot, used isoprop & hit the fridge with z8...

:woot:

I wax my hotwheels cars every nite.... Hehehe. :) I used Z2, Z5, NB, DG105, OS, Klasse, M21, Nxt, DC3, M20, M16, Collinite 476s, JW AJ, JW Prime, M80, Onyx & even TW on my Hotwheels. :D

What do you use on your phone? I have the LG VX8600 and the whole front is swirled.

I used Duragloss 501 Marine Polish to remove water spots from my dinner plates...

It worked wonders, but I'm sure most "normal" people would not have done this.

So how would one go about polishing the shower doors. We have a small stand up shower with three glass walls. I hate the thing but we have a 3 person jacuzzi tub in there that I love so we deal with it. I have hard water stains and they keep coming back. What detailing product would you recommend?

Maybe Klasse AIO or JWs PS on the UDM with a white pad? Followed by some Ultima PGP?

Yea, Klasse AIO seems like a good place to start. Then protect it with some wax/sealant. The PGP might be too precious to be used on bathroom shower doors, wouldn't you say?

I have had good results using collinite IW on my glass doors and surrounds.

Nah, I never bought into that whole to expensive thing. Its like when people complained about the cost of PS. If I like it and it works, then the price isnt all that important. The cost of applying that UPGP in reality is about $2, no biggie.

Haha, I guess you aren't as financially constrained as I am, then :) Only a student, so I don't have much income really. I'm just saying that there are some other (cheaper) products that will protect fairly well compared to PGP.

I've been using QD on my NASCAR 1:24 diecast collection for a few years now. Really helps keep em lookin great. Especially the color chrome ones!!!
