You know you like detailing too much when...

When you lay a piece of carpet for hours underneath your trailer detailing your cars undercarriage. :)

..before you go to the dealership for service maintenance, you leave a note on the dashboard to not wash the car...

nice undercarriage. nothing really work shining up on the underside of my stang. maybe one day

I must like detailing too much. It hasn't rained all week, the cars are clean and I have a 3 day weekend coming up. I want to clean the cars but they don't need it.

Think of it as therapy.....that's my excuse. :D

I'd always run over with the QD if it's been a good week, just to get rid off any pollen / dust. And if it's STILL sunny, I'll get the PC out and give it a good "few hours" session.

We just had our bathrooms redone and got new chrome and brass fixtures. Before anyone was allowed to use them, I hit them with Z-AIO and 2 coats of Z-5.

I try out different waxes on the washer and dryer to see how far the cats skid when they jump up there. :rofl (So far UPP is the winner for distance.)

I washed my push mower and was disappointed that there is too much rust to even bother waxing it. But the plastic parts are all clean and shiney now!

On this note, can anyone recommend a good product to spruce up my stainless steel grill? Its looking quite shabby.

Cheers,

HeavyB

OMG, that is insane. You must be single with no kids. I think you need help. You're clearly the winner.

I would think any mild metal polish should work.

Now that I detail I have observed the...

OTC has nothing to do with a pharmacy

NO ONE has heard of Zaino in the real world

Detailing is a cult like activity which draws a crowd like a baby giraffe at the zoo

Swirls have nothing to do with ice cream

You collect spray bottles (only the good kind) like Ethiopians collect dry goods in a famine.

You speak in acronyms and no one knows what you're talking about (ONR my DD, #80, #83, Z2/Z5 (ZFX'd) & LSP. P21S on the wheels and Z-16 on tires and rubber trim, IG on windows. QD as needed with a super soft MF) Huh???

We have created a cult. We are obsessed. Keep it clean!
