You won't regret it. And don't worry, I got pushed into buying another 8 MFs and 2 wheel brushes last night. And a rotary, backing plate, and SSR3 a few nights before that. This can be an expensive hobby.

i already had the rotary and so far this month have spent close to 400 bucks at auto geek.

got the whole ssr line, new pads for my rotary, cobra mf's, and some other stuff. now i got the PC and pads on the way.

guess i know what i will be doing this weekend.

I am glad for you!!

The pc and all the products that you buy will make you and your vehicle's "GLO." That is a good thing!

why don't you use the rotary on your escalade? why would you want a pc after using a rotary?? i really wish i would have gone straight to a rotary instead of a pc first.

sometimes the rotary is too much and it makes one hell of a mess most of the time.

I would have picked up an old junk fender and practice practice practice before you ordered the PC. My opinion with the rotary (and i think this would hold true to any experienced rotary user) is that once you get the hang of it, there is no turning back. The PC would still be a good investment for applying waxes and the harder to reach areas, but i would definately suggest spending a few hours with that rotary on a junk fender and bust out the different polishes and pads and see what you can do. i used to make a mess with my rotary and felt it was clumsy, but now it feels great. I would also suggest getting some Menzerna IP and FP. Those two polishes work so well with a light cut or polishing pad on my rotary. It feels so smooth and effective. Oh well, differetn strokes for different folks.:)

I went for a rotary first and I can say that a PC does have its uses - like putting on aio, wax, or polishing areas that my 7.5/8-inch pads can't (and shouldn't) reach. :D

I'm getting a PC soon but I'm still trying to decide which pads and how many. I'm going with 4-inch pads all the way for the PC because the rotary can do the heavy lifting.

It can get expensive but I, like many others, think it's worth it. For 99% of us, the car is the second most expensive purchase so why not spend a little extra to maintain it, right?

getting the pc is one of the best investments you'll make, and it will provide years and years of satisfaction. congrats! :up :woot:
