Just curious about the members car history;

How many, and how many new..
Me about a dozen, first new vehicle was a '73 Jeep CJ 5 that I paid $3,500 for, followed by another five, three Jetta TDI's and two p/u trucks.

LOL.... my third car was a brand new '73 Jeep CJ5... paint about $3500 for it!!! It was orange. I beat the crap out of that thing. Two years later I sold it for $4200!!!:clap: It's the only time I've ever made money on a car!

I've had about 30 cars in my life (too many to list). Only 6 of them were brand new. Smart decision, I think. A smarter decision would have been if none of them were new!:devil:

I can't remember the exact order so I'll just post the rest in what I think the order might have been.

1993 Ford Taurus SHO (miss this car!)
1999 Acura TL (think it was a 99)-bought for my wife
2002 GMC Sierra 4.8L V8 My DD
2002 Acura RSX-bought for my wife Her DD
 
'85 Ford Thunderbird - got totaled about 2 months after I got it when an old lady pulled out right in front of me and I hit her at about 50 mph. (She got the ticket.)

'85 Camaro

'85 Camaro Z-28 - the first car that i actually loved Boo Hoo

'89 Mercury Grand Marquis

'92 Camaro Z-28 - it was nice but it had red interior which i could never get used to! Kept it for a few years and actually sold it for a profit.

'96 Mercury Grand Marquis

'89 Corvette Convertible - triple black and super clean

'04 Crown Victoria LX

'05 Crown Victoria LX Sport - my current daily driver and the only car I've ever purchased new
 
74 Ford Granada 4 speed stick (the college years)
78 Buick Regal (latter part of college years and 1st year of new job.)
86 Pontiac LeMans (why, I don't remember) manual tran.
95 Chev Monte Carlo LS - Torch Red and the first vehicle I owned that got "detailed".
04 BMW 330Ci (coupe) Orient Blue and used to fine tune MANY detail skills.

07 BMW 335i Coupe BLACK!
 
Here's the interesting part of my car history...

75% have been black. (Will I never learn?:scared:)

When I bought the white Trans Am, a whole new joy of car ownership opened up for me!:hurray::hurray::hurray:
 
My first car was a 65 Mustang ( got it in 69 )and I beat that poor thing to the ground.....:biggrin:

I feel like I've been through a few more, but they were cars we bought for my wife. She doesn't care much what she drives from A-B so sometimes we get "her" cars that I like. Some of those have been:

2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS (her current car)
