Man, what a fake-out! I saw the title and was like "holy smokes a ZL-1!!!" Anyway, that car looks nice, but even if it was the ZL-1 you were thinking of, that's not the one I was thinking of... ;)

I believe this is what you were thinking of Bob :D Unfortunately I can't take credit for the detail :(

This one is part of a collection belonging to Roger Judski. He owns Roger's Corvette in Orlando. I have seen it and it is an impressive machine :D

Here is a link to this car's story.

That's one of only of two cars, the other is white. I got to see the white one about 6 years ago, before it was sold to a collector back east(I had a link to his webpage but can't find it, he has a LOT of rare muscle cars) but at the time I didn't know what it was. Cool cars :)

Aurora40 here is a Zl1 I do pretty reg.

There were only 69 ZL-1 Camaros made, and that isn't one of 'em. But that's great looking and your detail looks great! Like I said, the ZL-1 you were thinking of and the ZL-1 I was thinking of aren't the same. It's cool though. :)

Bob, you got it. In addition to the 69 Camaros, there were 2 Corvettes. I'd love to see shots of any of the 71 of 'em... ;) :)

yes you are correct the first ZL1s 69 were done. There also are 69 and 2 prtotypes were just done at the end of the camaros in 2002 by GMMG INC. with the permission of the Fred Gibb estate Helen Gibb signened the cars. This is one of the cars you are talking about.
