Yellow MF towels ...

from Costco. My non-detail buddy claims those yellow MF cloths from Costco don't mar

car paint! What say you?
 
Tried some on some bare paint that had just been polished and they left scratches on it. I wouldn't even wipe my rims with those things.
 
Seems like a simple question.... but paints and those towels vary greatly. Some of the batches are soft enough that they are safe even on moderately soft clears. After a few washes, they get hard and lint. I've used them for a long while on hard clears with no issues. That said, the Sam's Pro Force are much better and usually the same price.
 
If they are gold yellow in color, I bought a bunch for use around the house maybe I'll wipe wheelwells and under carriages with them
 
i just bought a 36pk of the costco kirkland brand microfiber towels and as if you didn't already know this, they need to be washed before use as they lint all over right out the package and make a mess. i just washed and dried half of the package but haven't' used them just yet, hopefuly they aren't lint magnets, we'll see...
