YachtBrite MF Cloths

I was in one of my favorite stores today, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, and of course happened to wander over to the detailing supplies (yea, I know they're meant for boats but I cannot help it). Off to the side were YachtBrite MF cloths, 2 per pack for $12/pack. They seem to be as high of quality or higher quality than the Cobra towels I have but have a shorter pile. Anyone ever used these towels before or know anything about them? They're having their first bath right now.

Shall we start an Autopian's Anonymous? :)

You lost me at "shorter pile". I like plush baby!

The pile isn't all that much shorter than the Cobra Detailing Towels but if you like the PakShak Ultra-Plush (or whatever they're called) then you would not like this cloth.

Here is a bit off the packaging:

-"...the fibers are subjected to a special heat treating process that uniformly splits each fiber into 16 separate 'microfiber' strands."

-"Each cloth may be laundered up to 500 times at temperatures up to 140ºF, using a standard detergent."

Hype or is there actually an advantage?
