Xtreme Vehicle Makeover - Ford Mustang GT Edition

Excellent Job Sean. I know from experience that mustangs have some tricky lines to them here and there. Looks like they didnt phase you. Great Job again.

There was no "filler" fix for this one. You have to barrel down on many of these. Why do you ask?

Because I picked up a leftover that I bought on an overcast day. It apparently had been through the dealer wash process a few too many times, but I didn't see this until the day after at home in the sun:

I'm concerned about taking too much paint off a brand new car.

Mike: Ouch :(.

If you are that concerned, I'd look into a paint gauge. However, being an Autopian, you figure you do it once, then just keep up on it and lightly polish it once to twice a year after that. I think you'll be fine.

Yeah...yeah. I'm going to stop here so as not to threadjack, but I'm apparently the poster child for large incentives causing impulse buying...me, who plans and agonizes over everything, and intended to order a car and get it with all the plastic on...

Once again, great work Sean.

It's a crying shame, no, a flat out crime for dealers to trash new cars like they sometimes do - what the h are they thinking - they should either leave 'em alone or do nothing more than a gentle hand wash!

Write your congressman to get a bill started! - lol

I've looked at this one 5-6 times now.

That's a very impressive turn around on ratted out black paint. Well done!
