XMT 360, and XMT 180

I've beenplaying around with the XMT 360 for a few weeks now. The product lable claims it can be applied and finished so no buffing is required. I have tried vaious pads, speeds, both PC and rotary and have yet to see this happen.

Has anyone else had any joy/experience/comments?

Also, I am awaiting my delivery of the new 180 wax version, again - experience/comments?

TIA

I always have to buff 360.... It's really easy but I never really had not to buff it. I only use it with the PC or UDM though. Maybe with the rotary?

I've had the same experience and have still needed to buff off XMT 360. If that was a product highlight that you wanted, although Poli-Seal does not have that listed in its description, I find it leaves less to buff off than 360. For me, I also found that PS does not dust, while I get some slight dusting with XMT 360. PS on the other hand has a tendency to gum up, and that's something that I didn't experience with 360.

When using the XMT360 what speed should the PC be set at? I have Lake Country Pads, should I use an Orange Cutting Pad or a White Polishing Pad for some light swirls and scratches on a 2007 Black Lexus?

BlackElantraGT - I had the same experience with gumming using Poliseal, til I switched to a LC white pad and a PC. Spread it on speed 4, bump to 5 and do a couple passes, if it doesn't fade into the paint easy, then you're using a tad too much. Cleans up with a quick wipe of a MF towel and you're ready for Optiseal or whatever.

what would cause 360 to mar your paint? Could it happen from not working it in long enough? Used a rotary and it looks like i have some marring now

If you have marring while using XMT 360 then its because you didnt use enough of it. XMT 360 disappears for me. I can work it in for 1-3 passes and its gone. The key is to work slow and keep the pad level. If the pad isnt level then youll never get it to disappear. I work it on speed 5 with the PC.

thanks for the info Guys

I got my XMT 180 a couple weeks back, used it three times now. Appearance is damn good, anyone any experience on durability?

It always mostly disappears for me, but I have found it pretty much impossible to make it completely disappear with zero buffing.. It's very easy to wipe down though, so I don't really consider it a problem..
