XMT 360 and holograms!

ive been having hazing issues with all of my 5.25" ccs pads, i hope i get to the bottom of this, im thinking about going back to the LC 5.5" low profile pads.....

I dont know if its the closed cell structure or what, but it seems im dry buffing alot more with these ccs pads, it really takes the polish. for example, i used some 2.5 yesterday on a black hood with my 5.25" orange ccs pad. after just 1 pass i could not see any more polish and that was with my work lights. i had to lower the speed and spread more polish because i was dry buffing after the 1st pass!

It seems these pads really dont get saturated with product like traditional foam pads, which i *think* is whats causing all this hazing....

I dont know, i need to experiment more with them.

I just got my order of XMT 360 in last week. I am going to test it out this weekend and will let you guys know on its filling abilities after an IPA wipedown.

the XMT "melts" into the paint quickly so it makes it hard to tell if you have enough product or if you need more

I would like to bump up this topic. I have some of the same questions here that were left unanswered. If someone with experience with XMT360 could chime in and give a few pointers on how to work the product/how much to use that would be great.

Thanks!
