X5 vs Menzerna & Duragloss Pictures

There is no cure!
I did this today. Saw how good Menzerna's PO106FF has been leaving a lot of my details lately, that it just wouldn't be fair to not use it on my own car. So I washed it quickly this morning and hit the whole thing with
Menzerna PO106FF Micro Polish. This is one weird polish. It cuts a lot lot more than any finishing polish I have used but finishes better than Final Polish II. So anyways, I applied Duragloss' Bonding Agent and then their sealant #111. This is the awesome outcome.

:lmfao :lmfao :lmfao First of the truck is beautiful,Greg said it all your detail is STELLAR (new word:) )I've seen some awsome pics done in DG including yours. The black paint looks rich/dark completly wet.
 
Yea, the entire car has orangepeel. Some parts mroe than others. The car has about 6200 miles. Just did the first oil change last week.
 
That one is interesting. Last few times I used the #111 sealant I used it without the bonding agent (a Duragloss product that is recommended for use before the sealant, just like AIO be SG). It worked fine without. But reading peoples reviews, they mention how much wetter it looks with it, so I got it. Its a chemical polish that helps the adherance of their sealants is all.

In your opinion was there a noticable difference in wetness/depth after trying the polish?
 
Assuming we're talking about the bonding agent and if it caused a difference with, versus without it, I would have to say yes. But many many factors come into play.

For one I used a really nice finishing polish this time that contributed 85% of the gloss. Secondly, this is the first time I used any duragloss product (other than AW) on my X5 finish.

On the other detail I did this weekend, I did use the Duragloss sealant without the Bonding Agent, and I could tell a noticeable difference from the last time. But again, in that detail I finshed with the magic finishing polish, where as the one prior I finished with FPII.

Its not that I was looking for a dramatic increase in shine, its that the manufacturer recommended using their Product A before Product B for best results. If I wanna see it looking and reacting the way the manufactuer claims, its best to follow their instructions. That way there is no critiquing involved.
 
Was there a wax applied after you finished with the polishing etc.....or was it

Looks great!!!

Try about 30% RMG mixed in with the 106ff, I use a 2oz sample bottle to shake the mix. It will increase the working time of 106ff and somewhat cuts down on the dust.

RAG came up with this on the other forum.
