I could be wrong but the reason being is the prep work they did to it was most likely a pretty aggressive pad polish combo, and seen how this product apperently fills in swirl marks and holograms permanantly you don't have to have much experience polishing, or even have to final polish due to the bonding capabilities.
That would be my guess to why dealers are the ones that were offered this product first, they know most holograms are found at dealerships.
Once again I'm no Angela landsbury but that makes sence to me.
