WX51 TXR + Menzerna/Blackfire vs Impreza P1

The little piece on the front spoiler is the tow eye cover, and the owner tells me it's never fitted quite right. I took it off and tried refitting it, but it just won't clip in properly.

I find Power Gloss is a pain by PC, and I try to avoid it wherever possible for large panel work (it just kills pads and it's hard to get enough heat into it to break it down properly. I like it for spot work, but in my eyes I need a rotary to use it efficiently over large areas.

I never make any adjustments to any of my pictures other than to distort licence plates at the owners request. What you see is what the camera saw, and if you follow my work you'll see that my camera is quite good at picking up sun flares. :)

First off - VERY nice detail. That car looks fantastic! I've also used IP by hand and it's actually quite workable, if a little tiring.

Regarding the stars - if I'm not mistaken, your stars will look different depending on your lens of choice, specifically the number of blades in the aperture of the lens. As well, you can get these stars by "closing down" the aperture (higher f-stop #) and shooting a bright point light.

You end up with a longer exposure in normal lighting situations (less light comes through) or an appropriately timed exposure in full sun.

I've gotten the same by shooting the sun reflected on a hood, but obvious (from the pattern/style of flares) a different camera/lens setup:

Your details are great..

Ya dont like using the rotary because of what....

Cuz ya work is great hands down...

But that is a long time polishing...

But hey your work speaks volumes.

I've never got round to buying or learning a rotary unit. All set to change, though, fully intend on getting one soon... but my PC died on me last Saturday, so I've had to spend some of the saved cash on a new one. :(

Nice work! But IMO you should get a rotary it goes much faster and after some pratice you will get much better results. Try it at least, after a while you will laugh at the PC. Promise. I have a cyclo and a rotary, I only uses my cyclo to apply Lsp:s.

If you buy a rotary, go for the Flex L3403VRG. Light and strong.

Once again, I love your works. The blue Beemer was so wet!
