www.overnightprints.com vs. my experience

Hello everyone!

This is a follow up of a thread a few weeks back about my business card design.

http://www.detailcity.org/forums/pr...ess-card-design.html?highlight=curtique+cards

after a lot of thought I decided I would order the cards. I went with the same design as I first posted. I didn’t do many modifications because I liked the very clean look.

I used the new design tool on the site ($5 off if you use it for a limited time) to make these cards. It was very easy, just a click and drag application. I did have one time were I lost my design but I was able to recreate it fairly easily. After I picked my design I ordered 1000 cards for 40 bucks. I also bought a card holder. I got everything shipped for about 50 bucks. The order shipped to me ground in 4 business days from Tempe Arizona (home of Norah).

I got the order today and picked up the box. I couldn’t believe it was as heavy as it really was. I opened up the box, and then another box holding all of the cards. The cards are a very nice thick stock with a matte finish. I would swear the box looks like it holds 3000 cards, but I think there is only 1000 in there.

I was a little skeptical on how much quality would really be on the printing of these cards, especially my logo, but let me tell you it is very top notch. Every little tiny detail is perfectly printed on these cards flawlessly.

So in closing I would like to say I am very happy with my order from overnightprints.com, and that I would highly recommend them to everyone!

you should have spent the extra money for the HIGH GLOSS finish
you not an accountant or landscaper your a top notch high bling car detailer
but it sounds like you got a good deal

Did the font on the logo turn out ok on the cards then? I was wondering about that. I'm glad if it all worked out well for you. :)

Before I had my logo designed, I bought my cards from an online place called "greatfx" or something like that. Witht he new ones, I called up a cusotmer of mine who works in a print shop. I figured I might as well support those that support me. :) The price was about the same and I really like the card stock and the finish he applied.

Yes your logo (hehe) turned out amazing. Every little detail came out perfect and it is very easy to read.

Sounds good. I was wondering how the logo came out as well. Glad to hear it worked out. Do you have any pictures of the card you ended up with? Did you have any cards before?

I agree with you. I bought cards from overnightprints.com also and I"m very pleased with them. All of my customers areloving them. A friend of mine that used to own a printshop said he would have had to charge me over $150 to match what they did. I had the glossy front and back done.

I also bought a bunch of very nice looking business cards from there after seeing what they had done for my sisters business. I decided not to go with the gloss though for the fact that on the back of my business cards i have a spot to right there next appointment date and time. Without the gloss its very easy to right on them with a pen. Just a thought to keep if your planning on doing this.

I just read this thread on the 3rd or 4th of June. I was impressed so checked out the site. Started messing around some and ended up ordering some. Ordered on Sunday, got them on Friday. Man they look great. I just used stuff from the site to design mine. I had been printing my own for years. I didn't like the quality much but the prices for what I wanted were more than I was willing to pay. It's nice to have a nice card to give out. Plus they are cheap enough that I can order some with coupons on them.

Great to hear you had good experience like me. The thing I love is that when I want to order more I just jump on and order because they are saved. I will purchase them 2k at a time from now on!
