WW's at Walmart...

I use them in my car during the rain to mop up the water from my windows and glass so I can see my mirrors properly. No streaking, and they absorb water like a true WW. I'll have to see how they fare on my actual washing.

So I bought about ten packs of these and they are FABULOUS!! It only takes one WW towel to dry my whole car!! They also don't swirl at all, I definitely made sure to check of that and they certainly are fine by me!

I don't use these for paint because of the edges and corners with exposed non-MF threads. I use them mainly for glass.

Mainstays 2 Pack Ultra Fine Waffle Weave Microfiber Kitchen Towels

16in. x 26in. Made in China

77% polyester 23% polyamide

These towels feel nice and soft even before a washing. They feel MUCH softer than the Eurow WW's sold in Costco in the towel section.

They passed the "CD test." I wiped lightly, then harder and harder, etc... until it took a scrubbing of the CD to scratch it. So I feel it should be safe on paint since you won't be rubbing hard or scrubbing your car dry.

For $2.96 for 2 towels, I bought 4 packs (8 towels)

I have never seen anything that came from WalMart that was made in China.

I did not take the time to go through every page of this post, but I have been purchasing MF at Target lately, they have some nice plush MF 16x16 for 9.99/12 not in housewares though, they are in the car care isle

I believe the ONLY quality OTC MF's that I'd ever touch the paint with are the Gray Vroom's from Target. I bought 4 for $6.99 and they are amazing. Never scratched my Honda Civic Paint.

Look in housewares....they also have some nice glass cleaning MF towels sorta silky looking and a nice MF mitt for dusting the interior of a car or doing interior protectants...

the WW towels seem to soften up more after a wash or two....nice towels for the money...

This glass cloth rocks, I have a green and a blue one. they are very thin and silky as Al put it... Some windows I come across have a haze on them and these are perfect for that.

Are you sure it's green or did they turn green after washing with other towels? The glass mf from Walmart in the Housewares section come in a 2 pack, one white and one blue.

I know that my white Walmart waffle weaves have a slight greenish tinge to them after all the washes I've put them through with other towels. I don't own any green towels whatsoever, but I do have a bunch of blue and gold/yellow colored towels so I'm sure those are the culprits for turning them slightly green.
