WTB: Meguiars #16

I just ordered (2) #16's from EShine. $15 for shipping!!?!?!?!?!? WOW!! This better be great wax!! LOL!!

I got some awhile back..he use to run a special on 1 day a month ..but anyways it cost me around 42.00 american shipped for 2 cans....great service from them...fast shipping...



I like the wax...certain cars I do #16 looks the best...I do a friends Rambler collection..a 1969 AMX and a 1968 Marlin...and the #16 looks best on them with Meg's #5 under it....

Not that I am looking to replace DG #105 by any means......I just like to strengthen my arsenal from time to time!! LOL!

Welcome to life as a Canadian ordering from the USA! LOL. Unfortunately international shipping is not cheap. I assure you not a penny of that $15 goes in our pocket. However you can order up to 5 tins and the shipping price stays the same. ;)
 
Chris at EShine treated me right....and the shipping is a fair price for international shipping...try getting products from Europe and see the shipping costs...will choke you...

How much does a can typically go for from a vendor? I looked at eShine and #16 was listed as $17.99 (i know its Canadian but American USD is usually cheaper).



Also, just curious, why did Meg's discontinue it since it's such a great wax?
 
Ya know.....I hadn't even thought of it as "international shipping" :nervous2: I guess it makes sense then!! LOL!!! Sorry if I sounded like I was complaining. I have gone so far as to even call little seaside towns here in California to see if any of the older boat supply shops still had some #16 on the shelves but no one does. Thought I might be onto something but it's all gone!!:sosad

Its not VOC compliant so it can't legally be sold in the US. It is still manufacturered in the US and sold overseas.

eShine is the only vendor I know that has it in NA, shipping from Europe kills any deals over there. These tins sell for $30+ on ebay if you can find them, they do pop up from time to time. I have seen them sell for $50+ on ebay in the past. Meg’s discontinued it in NA due to strict VOC compliance from the EPA.
