Great work on the Rex. What were your products used?

I used
blue coral mixed with apple scented dawn...wash
i dried the car with a the california wiper and towels
orange pad with porter cable on 3 and 4 setting
- poorboys 2.5 bubble gum stuff
-took it off with micro fiber towels on pc
meguiars paste wax gold class this was the first time i used it not bad stuff
- put it on by hand with applicator
-work it in with the pc 3 setting with a white polishing pad
- buffed it off with the pc using microfiber

my car was in good shape before this but it was severly swirled and theres only so much you can do by hand....so i bought a pc and used it on the old subaru and this is how it turned out......the pc is worth every penny i was affraid to use it at first but theres nothing to be afraid of
and you cant get out swirls with out a pc unless you have alot a time and a strong right hand
..... and yes iam capetan i lost my password  oh well

thanks for the compliments

Man, you can get way more depth using some other products on top...my normal routine if using Poorboys is:

SSR 2.5
SSR 1 or Professional Polish
Vanilla Moose (because of BMW mouldings:()
Typically EX-P
Black cars I use Pinnacle Souveran, and on most others I use P21S or Poorboys.

SSR2.5 is amazing at getting out swirls and fine scratches, also provides a lot of depth. The polish/SSR1 pulls out more, and also adds some depth. The VM/EX-P combo brings out so much depth its unbelievable. The souveran is untouchable without going to super expensive waxes, and it is incredible as well.

Your car looks great though, but I would bet it can get even deeper than that!

It doesn't matter what you use on top because you can't get better reflections than a black car in the shade reflecting a bright background. Those images are as good as they get no matter what you use. It is definitely true that in different light you will notice an improvement with different products, but in the shade at that angle with that foreground it doesn't get better.

THANK you jngrbrdman,
i agree, plus it only took me like 2-3 hours to clean and de-swirl the whole exterior, and wax
when i detail i try to get the best end result in the least amount of time

i told you this once already but that thing looks amazing, beautifal shine on a beautifal car. nothin like a black car
