wrong shipping address on my order

I ordered a PC 7336 a couple of days ago. If you buy a lot of stuff online you know how the states are scroll down and select. well, I am sure I selected Florida for the state part of my address but I think I rolled the wheel in the middle of my mouse while the state category was still selected and I just noticed that on the confirmation e-mail it said Georgia. I e-mailed Lowes and it was too late because they already shipped it. The rest of the address is correct. What should I do? I am worried that my $100 b-day present from mom is going to get lost.:(
 
Find out how they shipped it and contact the shipper with the tracking number. They should be able to re-direct with the shippers permission.
 
if you mean th shipper as in the company that i bought it from, i already did that and they said UPS won't let them change it until it is a day after delivery which doesn't make sense to me.
 
That's strange... We had something shipped to our old address (but it was via FedEx) and we called them with our new address and the tracking number and they called the shipper to confirm and it was re-routed. Granted it took a couple extra days, but they did it. Call a local UPS Center (not the UPS store, they probably won't know, but the actual UPS distribution center) and ask them. Maybe UPS doesn't do that.
 
Hopefully UPS will use the zip code and you will be OK. If you have the tracking number, it may give you more information.
 
If you accidently entered the ship-to city and state as Punta Gorda, GA I would think UPS would reject that as an invalid location some where within their system. If you entered your correct zip code maybe UPS will make the connection of the zip code and city and redirect it to the correct shipping location in FL.

Exactly.. The zip is all they will see until it arrives in your city.. Then it should be ok from there.
