Write-up feedback. Not thorough enough...

Don't get me wrong, I have learned a lot from this site: but I am looking for an alternative viewpoint. Are there any other detailing forums that someone would recommend?

Just being here for the last few months has been an experiance. However my guess is that this is as good as it gets.

Vortex is one that is ok. Autosupermart has one that is a real joke. None are as good as this one. You can visit the detailing forums of the different car manufacturers but they're really not that great. Laters.

I'll agree about vortex, but some 90% use 1 coat of wax and the absorber (check out their polls) on right now.

Intermezzo330I, I know I answered one of the posts you answered too. The think is their questions are easier than the ones here :) more specific too

In all my of experiences with detailing forums...AUTOPIA is the best. Most other forums bash people's ideas and the posters don't know squat when it comes to true, honest detailing.

Intermezzo330I - ever try switching your wax schemes on your cars :) [/b]</blockquote>
Steve,

Yeah, I know I got it reversed, but I'd be throwing away too much work on my Civic. (AIO 2x, SG 2X, 3M SC Wax 3X). I wish I knew back then what I know now! :)

When it comes to having posts deleted at Autosupermart, I reign as the supreme winner. Not even close. I've had dozens and dozens of posts deleted there in a 1 week period. It's not like I was trashing a particular product. When someone would ask a specific question, I would simply give them a few choices. This often entailed mentioning products that are not sold through their site. Wrong thing to do! Result- deleted post. They often did them before they picked up the Pinnacle line. I haven't visited much since though.
