Wow this stuff adds up QUICK!

Yeah i was buyign small amounts on purpose... i dont know what works best or what i prefer... so when i find that out i'll go into the "save with bulk" buying. The grit guard sounds like a great idea... i'm gonna give it a try :) and see if i like it or not. Plus i let kids (they love it) help me in the washing part sometimes and this will keep them from "going to the bottom" all the time.

I really do appreciate all your help tho guys.

lol... only the wife's acura of course :) they wash door jams, side skirts, rims, stuff like that :) harder to damage areas :)

I'd still recommend keeping the idea of getting a PC in the back of your mind. I picked one up not that long ago from a local lowes (the 7336 model for upwards of $100) and grabbed the sonus pads and polishes (the basic kit). Whew, a breeze to use... and I can't believe what dramatic benefits were gained... If you have any significant amounts of swirling or oxidation I promise you wouldn't regret using the PC. (note: if you do eventually go the route of getting a pc, don't forget to get the blue 3m painters tape at lowes to protect trim and emblems)

Lots of good, practical info on this thread! :xyxthumbs
