Wow.. I am booked again

Tex Star Detail

Formerly TexasTB
Holy Crap.
So I got a call the other day for a detail on a 2002 Caddy Deville. Told the guy I could not do it THAT day, because I was working. (I told him I was booked)
He said he would call me back the 1st if the week....which he did. I went out today and did his wifes Caddy.

A little story. There is a town about 30 minutes away. Small, retired town. Big money. So I follow the directions to where the car is at. Not at his house, but at the golf course/country club....... OH YEA.

I was set up right next to the creek that runs through the golf course. The guy has an office pretty much, ON THE COURSE. LOL Only one way in and out. And they have to pass by me.... ANOTHER OH YEA

So I am set up detailing the Caddy....OMG, there are TONS of people coming up to me getting cards and such. I could have been done 3 hours earlier if no one came up.
I picked up 2 cars a day until Friday.:D
So today I did.....
2002 Caddy Deville
200? GMC P/U (wash n Vac)( Same owner as the Caddy.)
He tipped me $50 too:D :D :D

Tomorrow.....
Toyota Sequoia (full detail)
BMW (wash n Wax)

Next day
2000? Lincoln (full detail)
BMW (interior detail)

I also had some folks want a couple of boats done, a show car (63? Falcon), and some golf carts....LOL

This place is a marketing paradise!!!!!!!!
I will post pics later....I am BEAT and need to set up my trailer again.
I NEED FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris I'm happy for you, glad things are going your way finally. Life will ALWAYS sort itself out ;)

Keep us informed. Posts pictures when you get a chance. Say hello to your wife from me.

I hope you are recording the customers data so you can keep regular contact.

name, address, phone, e-mail, car, price charged, services purchased. This info will help you cure a dry spell if you catch another one in the future.

Chris..Glad to see things are coming together for you...as said "Good things come to those who deseve".

Keep us updated and show results...

Remember..tell them to have it look as good as it is after your done with the car...you can maintain the look by a routine wash and clean ..

That wonderful news, Chris!!! I know you'll do a great job on 'em all!! :bigups

It's true what they say about "location, location, location". :) Are you going to be doing any of them at the country club??

I hope things continue to look up for you & your family!! :)

Chris! Start Saving 10% percent of all you earn from this point forward. Keep it going. Remember to hustle forward.

Jdoaria- Always do. Eveb if they are JUST ASKING about my service, I take their name and number, and when they leave, I write down the car info.

Norah- I am right across from it. Love it.

It's a funny thing about location. Am am right across the street from where golfers hit the 8th hole. They get out of their carts and stare. Most come over and get a flyer and card.

Now I am booked til Tuesday. Did another wash and vac today. Squeezed him in at the end. Picked up a few other people too. Guy in a new Porsche wants me to wash it, but is going on a week long trip, so he will call when he gets back.

Today, I detailed a Toyota SUV and wash n wax on a BMW. Both were filthy. DOG HAIR everywhere. I started at 8 this morning, and they both needed them BY 2:30. I was an hour late on the Toyota. She was not happy when she came to get it and it was not ready, but when it was done, she changed her attitude. LOL I had to help her mive her steering wheel back to the position it was in.....She did not know how to.......ummmm lever....pull....LOL
Only profile shots of the cars I did today...ran out of memory on the camera.

UPLOADING PICS now

Glad to hear your getting busy!! Keep up the good work and they'll keep on coming! :bigups

Offtopic: Do you have a full shot photo of your trailer completed with lettering, equipment, etc.? I have a small enclosed (4x8 - customized to 6 in. higher than normal), but I'm pulling it with a 2003 Tracker and the weight is starting to take it's toll. So, I am considering getting a 5x8 open utility, which is less weight and therefore I could carry a larger water tank. I used to have an open 4x6 trailer which was too small, but for some reason, I also got more attention with that than I do with my enclosed trailer??
