would this yield a good finish? (newbie here)

hi. im new to the car detailing things and have a couple of questions here.. first off, i have the '06 scion tc Flint Mica, like the car shown in this thread http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63773

that person used:

"AIO (green pad) to remove old wax

RMG (blue pad)

EX-P by hand

Natty's Blue by hand"

what is RMG? and am i correct assuming the colored pads go with an electrical buffer?

i was looking into using:

klasse all in one

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze

8 oz. Pinnacle Souverän wax

16 oz. Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray Wax (to shoot on after washes, between the real waxing jobs)

would this essentially do the same thing? but now im starting to look into the ex-p and natty'y blue instead since supposedly its better on darker colors like mine. and i would not be using an electrical buffer. i'd be doing everything by hand

what i want to do is basically protect my car's paint and make the finish nice and not have to do a full wax more than every 4 months or so, and apply all of this by hand. i could refresh the finish after washes with Poorboy's QD+ Quick Detailer.

am i on the right track here?

thanks

RMG is Clearkote Red Machine Glaze.

You line up will look good

Klasse AIO

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze

8 oz. Pinnacle Souverän wax

and Protect Better than AIO/RMG/EX-p and Nattys Blue, but looks wise for me this combo will look wetter, the Klasse combo will look very close due to the Souveran in it though. But I do find the RMG and Ex-p look better than the Klasse Twins, so this is what may just give the edge.

I cant pick between Nattys Blue and Souveran on my own black car so I am using both over wolfgang.

If you really want 4 odd months protection, go with the Klasse and Souveran Combo IMO. For Looks bearing in mind you working by hand I would use AIO, Clearkote VM ( Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze) as its better for hand application than RMG for me, EX-p, and alternate between Nattys Blue and Souveran for your waxings.

ok so

wash

aio

VM

ex-p

nattys blue and/or souveran

?

and this will give a good amount of protection and look pretty decent?

what about layering stuff? cant you apply many layers of ex-p or one of those, to get a wetter look

and is the poorboys QD a good idea after washes?

thanks for your reply
