The 3M Hand Glaze is a nonabrasive glaze that won't do any real (mechanical/abrasive) correction. It's basically the same sort of product as the Meguiar's Deep Crystal Step #2.
The 3M PI-II Fine Cut Rubbing Compound 39002 is very different. It *is* an abrasive product. IT works OK by hand, better by machine. It's so abrasive that you'll need to follow up with something milder (but also abrasive) because it'll leave some very light micromarring.
Also, that product contains silica-based abrasives and should only be use with the proper filtration equipment (it'll kill you dead just like asbestos).
So get a proper mask (ask the local autobody/paint supply place what's appropriate) and a milder polish to use after the 39002, and then use those two products before you wax.
