advertise on public access?

my friend has his own show at night so he might be able to plug my business too.

anyways the station runs ads during the daytime but what im worried about is not being a "registered" business. this is just a side job for extra cash. just a poor college kid :D

do you think someone working for the govt would find out and id get in trouble?

because im not paying taxes, etc

If your not paying taxes then your asking for trouble. It probaly will come around to get you.

Also, be careful how often you toss your name out there, if it's just you detailing and 75 people call you and you need to turn 55 of them away that makes you look bad.

Start small and see what you handle and work you way up from there. Most of the time HAPPY customers will do all of the advertising you need, you shouldn't even need that t.v. slot, espically since it's just you detailing.

Advertising brings attention to your business. If you do not have a tax id, and not registered, i would not advertise that way. I would stick to flyers, business cards and word of mouth.
