Worst interior I've yet to see ... DISGUSTING

man what was your process?

Vacuum as thoroughly as possible

Pre-treat with a strong alkaline cleaner (traffic lane cleaner for carpets, APC for seats).

Agitate/scrub with a nylon brush on PC, by hand where PC cannot access.

Let dwell 10 minutes.

Extract with hot water and fibre rinse (low pH) in solution tank.

Repeat as needed in this case.

Did you show her the before and after pics you took?

She should be offering you well over $100 for that, you really turned it around.

Might I be so bold to suggest that the next car she get's either has a leather interior or she stops being so disgusting...I really dont understand people that can leave there cars like that..Kids or no kids...

She's a lady I work with so I tried to give her a break on the price .... instead, she gave me a pretty nice tip :D and said she'd be sure to give me word-of-mouth referrals.

OMG--no child will ever ride in my bimmer!!! When I have kids, I'm buying a beater.

Great friggin' turn around!

Don't blame the kids .... my wife has let the kids eat/drink in our minivan for 7.5 years and it doesn't look like that. This vehicle had stains on top of stains set in stains.

LOL on the crime scene / murder scene comments ..... but not too far from the truth :nervous2:

Thanks for all the positive comments guys .... this thing was a challenge.

You really did do her a favor. That was $200 worth of work easily. I'll bet you don't pop off again until you actually SEE the job to be done, eh?

I sure hope people weren't sitting in those seats prior to you cleaning them b/c that is just nasty. I have done some realy sick cars but that is just wrong.

You did a fantastic job....:2thumbs:

GOOD GOD! I THREW UP IN MOUTH LOOKING AT THE BEFORES! Excellent job and as others have said.....charge more becuase you are worth it!

I didn't exactly "pop off" ... I kind of summarized/simplified how I got the job in my first post. Some people I have done work for before overheard her talking and referred to me to her. I rely heavily on word of mouth for work as I do this on the side.

She told me the car was nasty, but I figured it's a 2006 so how nasty can it be? But you are right....it's always smarter to see the job first. :help:

you were right a horror movie but with a happy ending ... Some scotch guard defenitely will be good for future food battles .

When I first saw the title of the thread, I was thinking "yeah right, that interior isn't going to compare to some of the jobs I've had to do".....BOY WAS I WRONG, that's probably the worst I've seen!!!

Excellent work!!!! :bigups

Thanks for all the positive comments guys ... I appreciate the encouragement :2thumbs:

Too bad the Extreme Contest competition was eliminated ... maybe I'd have a chance this month.

Due to the overwhelming response, I've decided to add a few more for your viewing pleasure.

I've been detailing other people's vehicles on the side for about 4 years now....and this is by FAR the worse I have seen. Not even close...and I thought I had seen some nasty stuff before.

Thanks for the thumbs up.
