Today I did a nice Wolfsburg Edition VW Jetta. The paint was in the worst shape I've seen. I had to clay and polish like mad to get all the oxidation and swirls out.
I clayed the surface for some time getting rid of all the tar, because it was very bad. Took me around 1 hour total. The wash alone took 45 minutes.
So I'll just list my processes, cause it will take a while:
-Wash
-Clay with mothers clay (I need something with more cut!)
-Polish with Poorboys SSR 2.5 x 2
-" with Poorboys SSR 2 to get back the gloss. It was very hazed after the 2.5.
-Top with some Nanowax. I tried 4 different products, including: NXT, Klasse, Wolfegang and Nano, and Nano really brought out a very wet shine.
-Tires got some light dressing, nothing major, didn't want a sheen.
-Windows were cleaned very well with Windex. No aftermarket tint, so it worked fine.
-Wheels were clayed and sealed with AIO.
Trim dressed with Poorboys Natural Look.
Anyways, enough babbling:
