WORST day ever!

Well, today was a very bad day. Very, very bad.
Good news, I am booked 2 weeks solid and still booking.

Bad news, today sucked.
1. I sliced my palm open pretty deep. Nothing a little alcohol and band-aid cannot fix. Then forgetting about it later and clean my hands with an Alcohol based hand sanitizer. Ouch
2. Then I busted my knuckle open right after that.:surrender
3. Then I get to wash a BLACK Ram 3500 4dr. dually, in the blazing sun.......with hard water:(

and the worst news I ever wanted to hear......
4. My 8 year old daughter lives with my Ex-wife in Missouri. I get to see her for a month out of the summer here in Texas. Got a call and said I ca get her ALL summer. Cool!:bigups Until....
I hear that her husband has orders to go to Japan.....for 3 years. Leaving in September.
I won't see my baby for 3 years:( , unless I can come up with the $$$$$ to fly her back here to visit.:surrender

So there I have it. I get her for 3 months before she leaves. Going to be having a lot of fun and crying a lot of tears.........:(

thanks for letting me vent.....

I can sympathize with you about the cuts on your hands. They do hurt really badly and hurt even worse if you forget about them and do something to irritate it. Fortunately, they heal up. I'm really sorry to hear about the situation with your daughter. I just pray that her husband won't manipulate the system and stay overseas more than the three years that you're anticipating. Maybe you and your Ex-wife can come to some sort of arrangement to split the cost of a ticket once or twice during that time period. Not having any children myself, I can't understand what you're going through, but if you ever need anything, let me know.

Man Chris, I am really sorry to hear about your daughter. I can't imagine being without one of my girls for a month much less 3 years.

Hope you can find a solution.

yea, just sucks. I knew my ex and here husband were going to be stationed somewhere, and talks were state-side, then this popped up.
My daughter being 8 years old, I dunno if I can wait until she is 11 to see her...

I'm sure you will find a way to see her while shes there. Try not to let it get the best of you. Where there is a will there is a way.

The part about your daughter is really sad. I have two girls and I could not imagine not seeing them for that period o time and it would devestate me. I am suprised there is not some law that prevents that. I understand he is going to be in Japan, but I would think there has to be something to not allow one parent to be out of touch with his or her child.

Chris..I am very sorry to hear about your daughter being away from you....I know you are a very good father and you love your children ...now that my son is older and moved out..I miss him so much...so I know how you will feel...enjoy the time you will have with her and I know you will work something out in the future to see her...

As far as your cuts and bruises...you are a klutz...lol...j/k....but I am like you..every time I try to do something I end up with battle scars...

Enjoy the summer with your daughter and I hope all works out later in the future for you...
