Will CCM layer. It smells like it has solvents

:nixweiss No idea if it actually film builds but multiple applications improve depth. You can also use Opti-Seal over it. Looks incredible.

I love the Zymol Vintage as far as waxes goes. It leaves the paint incredibly slick, great depth of gloss, and requires skill and patience to be applied correctly. As far as synthetics go, Matrix Micro Coatings can't be beat. It has a better depth of gloss than even the Zymol, and it's permanent. You can't really beat that. It also requires great skill and patience to install, not a home detailer product. As far as water-bead goes, you CAN'T beat the Matrix coating with anything. It does however take two days to fully install, so turnaround is not very quick

I find it interesting that out of all the comments this is the first one besides my own that refers to Zymol.

Not only that it refers to their wax that will set you back 2 large.

Obviously Zymol's entry level waxes can't compete? Up until now I thought they were supposed to be the best.

I bought their whole kit last year. I like it a lot as far as carnuba goes its just as good as Souvran ,zymol and the other high end waxes. If your looking for a carnuba its definately worth getting. Their Surface refresher ( QD ) is a really nice product . Very easy to work with.

Can you expand on this? If it's "as good" as Souveran but costs more, why get it? Just wondering as there's a local clearance sale of their products but still costs more than Souveran, which I already own.

I like WBW. Altough I use Vintage now, WBW was a good wax. Not as good as Pin. Souveran wax. But better than most I'd rate it a seven.

Again, can you please expand on your experience? Thanks.

WBW is a very good product with good durability. Easy on and easy off close to Souvern but just not there. They only sell 2 different waxes. There are so many better carnuba waxes that it gets lost in the shuffle.

WBW on line is $79 and Souvran is $89 at AG so it doesn't cost more.

I have tried all the expensive carnuba's and not much really seperate them.

The prep has more to do with the looks of carnuba than anything else.

I actually like the carnuba's with synthetic enhancements better.

CG BWW , FK1 1000p , DF Swax, OCW & CK cmw

My opinion is WBW is every bit as good as Souvran , ease of use ,looks and durability.

I also think when Surluster was around it was just as good as both.

I just received WBW 'Connoisseurs' and Victoria 'Concours' wax. WBW-C has a strawberry scent, and VC has a watermelon scent. Both are tinted a strawberry colour, with VC a little darker.

Can't wait to try them on my wifes black car!

(My collection of carnaubas is nearly complete! Just need to get the new Autoglym High Definition paste wax and I'll be happy!)

BTW, those who've commented on WBW, is it the 'Connoisseurs' or 'Collectors' wax you've experienced? One of the posters mentioned it having a cinnamon scent...my 'Connoisseurs' wax has a strawberry scent. The 'Connoisseurs' is strawberry coloured, while the 'Collectors' is yellow.
