...were found today at the World of Wheels car show. ;)

Let's see, how about a sealant that lasts six months, probably a year?

Liquid Lustre of course...

Okay now throw away your fancy microfiber towels because the Super Shammy has arrived...

That's right folks a product so good they needed a second booth to sell it in...

:)

LOL they have tose shammy's every year at the state fair here in NC. I bought some about 5 years ago just to see. what a joke! Very absorbent but usless after a few washes.

But zippy they had a special today! I was so lucky I could buy 2 for just $20!

But wait there's more!

2 bonus shammys in blue for special details.

Wow, live and in person! Did you get their autograph too? :chuckle:

I guess I need to go down and see it for myself....

Really though, was the show worth the $14 entrance fee?

that's too funny. i saw those orange shammies for sale at a vending cart at the mall a few months back... :chuckle:

I see those two booths at just about every event I go to, even non car related ones now-a-days. I saw them at the Fishing Expo here in Michigaqn a few weeks ago. I will see them again at the Autorama in Detroit in March too. I wonder how much they really sell? LOL

Lee--how many bottles of Zaino did you have to trade them for just one bottle of Liquid Lustre...? :chuckle:

This bothers me. Are you really suppose to wear the "Super Shammy" as a sweater? And what does your pet do with it?

Great for sweaters. I don't get it. I really don't. Do you have a number for them because I will call. It's like that "super trolly" thing they had on after the new years celebrations a few years ago which cost $25 to ship yet it was "extremely light weight." Yeah, I called. sigh....

Who has a guarantee for a window of years? That doesn't inspire confidence.

Why would you want to bleach out that lovely orange?

This may sound kind of dumb...but I think they mean that the "Super Shammy" works great for sweaters - as in people who sweat tremendously. You'll never need another plain-jane hankerchief again, because the super shammy will hold 25x its weight in sweat.

The Liquid Lustre guys have been polishing the same red hood for years now!

I remember seeing them at The WOW in New Orleans about 4 years back and I swear that's got to be the same hood. I love the throw lighter fluid on it and light it stunt to show that it will protect your car from flames... :rofl

World of Wheels Ticket - $12

T-Shirt - $20

Laughing at everyone who actually believes the hype - Priceless

:2thumbs:

They're the exact same chamois that I bought at the London Motorshow quite a few years ago before I became Autopian. Even then I thought they were trash. What was even funnier is that the printed text on mine said "Made in West Germany" - they must have bought a ship load of it when the wall came down and are still trying to get rid of it.

Well, if you are serious in wanting an explaniation, the "great for sweaters" part is for drying sweaters that can't be put in the dryer. You'd roll them in the "Shammy" and the "Shammy" is supposed to absorb excess water from your freshly washed sweater.

As to the pets-You can dry them with it, or blot out pet "accidents." ;)

"Made in West Germany"

Still doing this bit at the Atlanta Show. Guess they want to invoke thoughts of German engineering. ;)

By the way, check out my hot rod pics in the Car Show forum from World of Wheels. :)

Just had to mention Zaino and they were instantly intimidated. :D

I'm surprised they actually knew what Zaino was!

The WOW in Boston was a dissapointment. Seema that every year over the past 10 years, muscle cars have slowly givin way to the rice rockets. Plus the quality and care that some of the cars are in are less than par.
