working in til dry?

Yup, should be a haze. Most likely too much polish. Took me a while to get the hang of it. The size of a lima bean distributed around the pad. (I hate peas)

LOL, "I hate peas"! You can still use a Lima bean but just one!

I'm thinking too much product too. I like a very fine haze but definatley not dry.

Sorry, I worded it incorrectly.
how long should I work it after it is dry?
Til it is all gone and into powder?

Well, after its dry you should stop working it in then. Is this some kinda trick question :banghead:

What machine are you using and what pad/product and speed. Answer these 4 questions and maybe I can give you a more direct answer

Sorry, i had thought it was an easy question.
Maybe not,lol
Using the PC, I spread the Mequiars glaze in at speed 3.
Then bump up to 5 to work it in.
After a few passes I notice the glaze is coming off like a powder.
My question is, do I keep working it in at this point or have I worked it too much and not put enough product on?
thanks

No Problemo, once you enter my world nothing is simple :scared:

Sounds like your working it like you should, but maybe your not using enough product or your working it to long. You wouldn't happen to be using the original version of 105 by chance I don't suppose?

You should be working in 2'x2' sections making 6-8 passes(up/down~back/forth) :wizard:

I usually drop a smileyface on my pad then smear it into the pad trying to cover the entire pad

I hope this helps. If not feel free to follow up with another question :toetap05:

No, I've tried to get the 105 and 205. But haven't found a supplier yet.
I have the #2 Finecut Cleaner and follow with the #9 swirl remover and yellow wax.
Not getting the results I like with the yellow pad.
Thinking either I need an orange pad or need to get the 105.

Well, from my experience #9 drys out supper fast. Never had the pleasure to work with #2

Yes, no doubt get a couple each of 5.5" orange, white and black pads

As for where to get your 105 and pads. Might I suggest Proper Auto Care :wizard:

They have a supper dupper sale going on this weekend if you have deniro avalible. Here is something I just stumbled upon for those who have not had the pleasure of using 105:
