Work Truck Detail by Kevin Brown

Amazing

An amazing job ... and a long-haired shepherd lover as well. There are more and more things to like about Kevin Brown! :)

First off I would like to thank you for posting this thread here @ TruthInDetailing. I really do appreciate you taking the time to do this. This thread should truly inspire everyone to step there game up a notch :wizard:

Where do I begin.......@-)

Annie, looks like she helps you as much as my baby girl does Sleep Sleep tell her Trouble sends her regards <:-P

The pic where you said "Oh, thats where that cookie went" has had me in stiches all day. I haven't laughed that hard in a while

I was taught by an old school body/paint man about using laquer thinner to clean leather/vinyl. Although its not something I use often, it is still something I reach for when nescecary. I have recommnded this before and in return been called a hack :o

When I was putting out volume, one of the test I would put a noob on would be a PU. One of the areas I would check for was between the tailgate and bumper. Its been my expirence that hardly anyone ever takes the extra few minutes to get that area. It really does make a difference IMO :2 cents:

There is so much to take in on this thread I'm certain I will have to come back with another reply. Again Kevin, that was a truly inspiring mission you accomplished. Glad you made it out alive :soldier:

Unbelievable detail and thank you for letting us share it. Unfortunately I lack the confidence or know how to remove pieces like that for fear of breaking something but that is absolutely how it should be done. I can only imagine how new that truck must've looked when you were done!

Wow ... amazing work.

I'm still amazed about the interior ... sweet jesus, I thought for a second you were gonna gut the whole thing ... lol.

Kevin,

On that long nasty scratch. I see you used 2500 grit. I suppose you did this with a sanding block and not a machine. I have practiced this a few times but my results were not as good as yours. I would really like to hone my wetsanding skills. Do you ever use Triact? Do you have any articles you've written on this subject?

Thanks,

Flash :out:
