woooooohooooooo! vegas baby!!

It's tough trying to get all my work done knowing that I'll be at SEMA in less than 24 hours.

Woohoo!

Randy

Someone make sure Gary doesnt drink too much and get into trouble, or get robbed for his wallet and or clips! :D

Hey, TL, it was awesome to meet you today. Where did you go? We missed you at the get together tonight. I had a clip for you as you requested.

Ooooooh maaaaan..... I dropped by the Circus Circus buffet after leaving the Convention Center. Musta picked up more than I bargained for and spent most of the evening with a porcelain friend. Major bummed out, met most I wanted to at SEMA but there were a few that I knew I'd only see at the Artisan. I'll either have you drop a clip in the mail or catch up to you at Detail Fest.

My 36 hours in town are up... I'm headed east. I've got a black Town Car to Opti Coat starting Friday evening.

Darn it, TL, sorry I missed ya.

I'll be in Vegas today... was hoping I'd get a chance to buy you a beer...

Greg told me you wouldn't be in til today. I'm 45 minutes from CLE, ping me when you have a long RON.

TL

You aviation geeks and your slang :rofl

Yeah, luckily my wife was a flight attendant and then a travel agent, so she speaks fluent AvGeek. We'd never be able to communicate otherwise. ;)

This one's easy to decrypt, though...

All airports have a four letter (or 3, depending on how you look at it) airport identifier. All USA airports have identifiers that start with the letter "K" (go figure). It's common to leave off the leading K when referring to a US airport. Cleveland's airport identifier is KCLE, or just CLE. While Cleveland's identifier is easy, some of them get pretty darn obscure.

The "RON" reference is Remain Over Night.

One of my favorite airline urban legend stories is about a certain "gravitationally challenged" woman who was absolutely furious after traveling to Fresno, California. Upon finding her baggage at baggage claim, she went in to a complete uproar, as she found a tag on her luggage that said, "FAT". Her luggage had found it's way to the correct destination, though: Fresno Air Terminal's airport code is.. yup, you guessed it "FAT".
