Woolite mix

When you're mixing it together with 6 parts water and 1 part woolite.. how would you do that? If I have a 32 oz spray bottle here.. about how much water and how much woolite should I put in? Heh.. I'm terrible with this kind of stuff.
 
ah mathematics :D

lets assume woolite is x and water is y and u have 32 oz bottle.



so equation is x + y = 32.

we know water is six parts. so equation becomes



x+ 6x = 32

7x = 32

x = 32/7

x = 4.57 oz.



so u need 4.57 oz of woolite and 27.42 oz ( 6 * 4.57oz ) of water.



4.57 + 27.42 = 31.99 oz ;)



or u can do

4 oz of woolite and 24 ( 6 * 4 ) of water = 28 oz.
 
Thanks.. I'm going to try this out tonight on the carpet in my car. It has a bit of dirt smashed in there.. I guess it shouldn't be any problem for Woolite from what I've heard
 
The Woolite mix worked great on the carpet. I basically used the same method as GSRstilez, except I primarily used a terry towel to get the dirt out though since I don't have a very good wet/dry vac. The carpet is clean now.. and I finally put floormats in. The car didn't come with them and I've been driving around without them for way too long.
 
i bet you must have used dozen of terry towel to clean your carpet :D

glad to hear goleafsgo your carpet is clean now ! any pics before or after ? plus you spray two thin coats of 3M Scotchguard for carpet protection against stains and resist soiling.
