Woolite meet Soccer Mom, Soccer Mom meet Woolite!!

Ahhh, the good ol' minivan detail. M & M's, oreo's, pretzels, gum, you name it...all over the place!!

This was just an interior detail.

1. Thorough vacuum (seats taken out, etc.)

2. Clean solution consisted of: woolite, 2 ounces of A2Z, water, and a 1/2 ounce of fragrance. This solution was used to clean everything (shampoo carpets, seats, clean doorjambs, trim, etc.).

3. Used my craftsman 5hp vac to extract.

I can not live without Woolite. It is absolutely amazing!! Check out some before and afters.:xyxthumbs

Wow good job! I haven't done an interior detail yet but I do intend on getting that Craftsman 5hp wet/dry vac with the casters. :up

That reminds me, I still have to come up with my list of interior products...

A2Z from Eagle One (Wheel Cleaner). Use a small ratio of it in your solution for heavily soiled upholstery, carpets, etc. I first use a cotton terry towel to wipe, scrub, and spread the solution around the carpet, trim, upholstery, etc., then I take a small scrub brush and aggitate the area, and finally (for trim, vinyl, etc.) I take a MF towel to wipe and dry. For the carpets and upholstery I extract making sure to get the soap and as much water as possible out. I believe it was around 3-4 gallons of water and solution to clean the entire vehicle. I also forgot to mention after cleaning the doorjambs, I gave them a nice shine with some Meg's QD.:up

:shocked

Nice turn around. Amazing what simple over the counter products and some (ok, maybe a lot of) elbow grease can do :xyxthumbs

Imagine you had a portable extractor?! Kind of makes you want to make an investment, huh?!

Excellent work :bigups

Are you speaking of the little Craftsman vac that was posted in a thread a few days ago. I think it's 5 HP with 9 amps!

What were the ratios of the products you used. You mention a few details, but I didn't understand the entire cocktail.

Nice work!

JJ

Hmm I'm guessing the solution worked very fast? First time I've heard of A2z in the interior. Do brushes really help in those cupholders / tight areas?

I still don't understand how some parents can alow their kids to turn the cars into mobile dumpsters. I know eating in the cars is more common in the States, but some people just go crazy.

By the way, good job. Charge per pound and you'll earn more money.

Amazing transformation! But Im still a little baffled on using wheel cleaner for the interior? Do you mix a 6 parts water to 1 part Woolite?

Super transformation AJ!!! :xyxthumbs

Everyone that is considering a full-time detail job should have to get a few dozen of those "Ahhh, the good ol' minivan detail. M & M's, oreo's, pretzels, gum, you name it...all over the place!!" It's the no glory having detail but a bread and butter job that always generates many more referrals (you know how those soccer mom's love to "chat" at the bus stop)!!!

All the praise is great, But an EXTRACTOR with a rinse agent was needed to remove all that chemical that was put in the vehicle seats and carpet it will wick in a little while and all turn brown and what about a chemical reaction to the kids of the vehicle. A2Z to clean seats??????????????????

If you could not do the job correct it should have NEVER been DONE !!!!!!!

so, can i use a lgcm?

Yeah, I would like a recipe for that interior solution. Results are incredible. I think I have the same vac as you do.

AJ--GREAT job!! That is an amazing turnaround--too bad it had to be in such a nice minivan (yes, I put those words together--it is an Odyssey, after all).

Not being a professional, I wonder how much of a mixed blessing it is for trashmobile drivers to "chat."

Mom One: You should have seen the amazing job he did on the gum, crayons, and bodily fluids!

Mom Two: Wow, I have those problems too.

Mom Three: Hey, me too!

...

Mom N: I'm calling AJ with the rest of you.

:D

Again, not to take away from the job; that must have been quite rewarding to stand back and admire. I hope she appreciated the hard work.
