Wool pad care

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but I was wondering if wool pads can be washed? I've been using my Tuff-Buff on single stage black paint and though I can't see it, I can feel that they're gummed up still.



I tried using the search feature but came up empty handed. Maybe I didn't enter the correct key words?
