Wookie's Fist

I'd like to add something that David Fermani and I discussed a long time ago - the first thing about washing the car is to rinse the car then wash. I'm saving up for an electric power washer I saw at Northern Tool ($449.00) but untill then, I rinse, spray a little mix I created as my pre-soak and rinse again before I start the wash cycle.

I wouldn't think anyone on here would be washing a dry car?? Maybe I am missing your point. I thought we were talking about the wookie??

Dodo Juice products are no doubt very good (heck I own a bunch), but they're not the first thing that comes to mind when someone asks me for a recommendation.

Being more pricey and luxurious, most folks won't be able to appreciate the difference in them versus cheaper products. I love the educational information they've brought to the business along side products like Supernatural Shampoo (filler agents/slickness/foaming), their waxes ('nuba %), and things of that nature.

I wish I was in a situation to buy a SN wash mitt, but I know it's not going to happen. Wool mitts are my favorite, but they're prone to falling apart over time much quicker than mf based ones, and I can't see myself watching that money go in the garbage.

Regardless, I have no doubt it's the King of all wool wash mitts and look forward to more reviews!

I might have to try that out for my post-BHB passes (with the foamgun, of course).

A few Qs for those who have tried it:

How does wash solution seep out of it (when its filled with said solution)? Fast, slow?

How easy is it to hold the cuff shut while it's full of solution?

How heavy is it when filled with solution? How easy to manipulate?

How readily does the nap shed contamination when used with a foamgun? What I mean is, does it hold onto dirt until you dunk/rinse it or does it flush clean to some extent with just the foamgun?

My point was - get as much crap off the paint with a water hose/PW BEFORE you start using the wookie, sheepskin, sponge or whatever. Got it?
