I have to say-- it's held up like a champ. There are no visable dirt particles in the mitt, the ones that do get stuck flow right out with tap water, and it appears that my technique rather than the mitt is the cause of the very light marring on the new car.
The fur doesn't feel as fluffy as it once did, likely due to having only been rinsed off after all this time, but it's not shedding excessively, the strands are still strong and it's given no signs of having been a waste of cash.
