Just curious on feedback between wolfgang swirl remover vs poor boys ssr? Looking to make a purchase and considering both (probably ssr 1 and/or 2)

do you do this for a living or just a few vehicles here and there?

If you know that you'll do alot heavy corrections, get ssr3. Otherwise 105 or HD UNO will do just about anything.

I've never noticed a whole lot of corrective difference between SSR 1& 2, but I do feel SSR 1 is a nice finishing polish (i.e. it leaves a nice looking finish). If you're planning on doing any correction of note, you'd be best to go ahead and get SSR 2.5. It will handle a wide variety of defects if you have patience with it.

FWIW, I have tried several Wolfgang products and have never been too impressed with any of them. I've either sold off or gave away all the WG stuff I've ever gotten. Others folks like it, though, so it must be me.

this will be for personal use. It isn't a ton of heavy corrections. (although my ability to properly assess the situation may not be of the highest quality) If I find I need something more aggressive I will get something better but I feel its best to start less aggressive.

Ive really enjoyed working with the SSR 2.5/1 combo. As already stated, 2.5 is a better choice than 2 because it will correct more defects. a flex I think would play pretty well the the SSR twins.

What type of vehicle?

Meg's 105, HD UNO, or some Menzerna maybe better choices.

Wolfgang (and Pinnacle) were both reformulated by Menzerna but from what I have read they are a bit tacky when wiping off (that was early reviews not sure if it is still a "problem"). Now Menzerna Super Intensive Polish and a light cutting pad with a Flex can remove quit a bit of CC scratches.
