Wolfgang sealant how long ?

I have been lurking for a while now , and thanks to all the great cars I have seen here and also how easy you all make it out to be,Yesterday I tackled my black 2002 Duango .





Here is what I did



1) Wash

2) Clay

3) Wash

4) paint cleaner

5) Light cut polish from TOL

6) VM glaze





Today I at approx 9:00am I put on the first layer of Wolfgang sealent. How long do I have to wait to put the second coat of sealent on ? I plann on toping with 3 coats of Pinnacle souvarnan wax.

I've never seem a firm number specifically for WG, but the rule of thumb for most sealants is 24 hours.

You probably can't.

It's just a rule of thumb. You are just trying to let the sealant have time to setup/bond.

when i 1st applied WG i applied the 2nd coat the next day. then i used the menz twins again and killed those 2 coats. after the twins i applied my 1stcoat again. 3 days later i applied my 2nd coat after a wash. and 2 weeks later i applied the 3rd coat. i was going on vacation and wanted to have some extra protection and was putting a bra on for the drive. I love the WG slickness and shine
