Wolfgang Fuzion vs Pinnacle SS2 vs Pinnacle XMT 180 vs P21s 100%?

What do you guys think the best wax for about $50 is?



The Fuzion is regularly a lot more, but they've got the sweet deal on it atm.



The Pinnacle SS2 is regularly around $50, but seems to never be mentioned with Souveran getting all the praise.



The Pinnacle XMT 180 i've never heard anyone speak of. It's BOGO right now for $30, is it better than something like a Meg's #26 or Poorboy's?



P21S 100% seems to be well respected and liked.



Basically, what do you guys think the best value in a mid-range wax is? Do you think there's even a reason to use these waxes over something like Meg's #26 which seems to be regarded as being much better than its price would indicate.



Not trying to start any sort of trouble, just wanting to get some insight. Thanks.
 
Perhaps Chemical Guys 5050, Wet Obsession, and Lusso Oro should also be included in the discussion, as they retail right around $50.

Yes, it's just some surface cracks. Hell I bought it for full retail at 175 bucks and it had some cracks.

There's a few Zymols as well. We'll add them in too. :)
 
I would go with Fuzion for ease of use and durability.But like it was said in another thread #5 that was a good point. Collinite #915 is a PITA to remove.
 
like I said, for the price factor, I bought two of the fuzions...BOGO



I still have souveran, so once I get the fuzion, Ill do a comparison for you on my hood 1/2 n 1/2
 
What about Blackfire's wax? I feel if it had the constant barrage of marketing, glitz and special price offers as Fuzion, more people would buy it and rave about it.



Half this stuff is hype. Prep the vehicle correctly and anything will look excellent. *Very* few products truly differentiate themselves from the masses; boutiques included.

I agree, 95% is in the prep. Some guys here can make turtle wax look stunning.:2thumbs:
 
XMT180 - decent wax, easy on and off



SS2- it's like Souveran for metallics and lighter colored cars IMO. does not look good on darker cars as it seems to really lighten the paint.
 
everthing said here iscorrect, i would throw in fk1000p and pink wax also. easy on/off, durable great finish and the price is beyond reasonable. around 15 dollars for each. jmo

I've had good luck with Blackfire. It's easy to use and provides good results. Blackfire offers a good bang to buck ratio.

I started using P21s spring of 08. I love it and more importantly my clients love it. I use it on everything from Civics to Ferrari's. It brings out a great shine and adds depth. I've received great feedback from clients about how their vehicles look after driving in the rain. The water beads well and slides off. Drys with little to no water spots. Its easy to apply and surprisingly easy to buff off. It also doesn't stain rubber! That's my opinion and a few comments made by my clients.
 
Fuzion - does it stain trim? I guess I should have thought about that before I bought it huh...lol



(not that I coat the trim with it, but I love C845 because it doesnt matter if it hits trim, it wipes right off)
