I was wondering if you guys follow the directions when applying the sealant? It says to apply in a circular motion and thouroghly massage into the surfcace (not an exact quote). I was under the impression it is best to apply / remove in straight lines?

I followed the advice of fellow autopians and used straight lines. I check my foam pad every few minutes for any dirt that might be in it but if by some chance there was a speck, I don't want it rubbing a circle into my clear coat as it would be more visible.

So far, using straight lines has yielded good results for me (I do all my work by hand since I don't own a PC.)

I try to use air-flow directional application for protectants for the majority of the movement, but when using a PC there is also a circular component that seem to cause no harm.

By theory either motion (circular or straight-line) means of application would be perfectly fine if product has zero physical abrasives and surface and applicator are perfectly clean.

I definitely work WG into the surface per instructions. Works great!!!

I read once to start in a circular motion, but finish in a straight-line. Didn't make any sense to me so I stuck with the straight-line method. Figured the circular motion was the motion that would introduce the most unwanted swirls.
