Wolfgang Auto Carpet Restorer

I got this from Autogeeks Christmas give away, but I haven't gotten a chance to use it. I did a search and I did not see much discussions about it.



What do you autopians think about it and how do you use it?



I am planning my approach to cleaning the interior of car (salt, dirt, etc) and was wondering if I should use Wolfgang, the costco apc/protein solution mix, or just plain water/oxi-clean. My interior isn't very dirty at all, except for the residual winter salt near the pedals area.

I used it on my floormats recently and learned a lesson or two. Do NOT spray too much product on and do NOT use it in conjunction with carpet cleaner in a machine. The resulting suds are a PITA to deal with and nearly impossible to eliminate or greatly reduce. Ever put Dawn in your dishwasher? Imagine that but in carpet.



Used alone, it is a great product that removes stubborn stains.

I would avoid using oxi clean unless you have the ability to rinse it out.

Good suggestions. I plan to use a green machine or a shop vac to extract with. I just didn't want to use the Carpet Restorer for areas that aren't too dirty, that is where the I thought the oxi-clean solution would work well.
