Wolfgang and Poorboys World New product releases

I think DWG has the advantage ..as it can be used any time..even over the sealant for say a car show and not remove the underlaying product...The PB's one sounds like a one shot deal..you use it on the paint and then top it...with the cleaners in it your not going to be able to top and existing finish with it later on...Al

DWG is the very best thing I've put on the Audi's silver metallic paint. I've used Liquid Souveran and Clearkote CMW. It beats these hands down and really ramps up the flakes. Extremely easy to use, a little goes a long way and is relatively cheap at $16. I go to it first before the waxes it seems these days. Very clear and reflective and the gloss is incredible vs. carnauba waxes IMHO.

I'm anxious to try it with a PC and red pads although hand applications are way easy.

Curiosity always gets the best of me in this hobby.

i wonder how the new PB's glazes compare with the CG / DWG wet glazes.

or even compared to the PB's polish with carnuaba blue .

I would bet very good money that Black Hole is between 95 and 100% similar to CG EZ Creme. I got a chance to use BH at Detail Fest, and it's level of hiding, ease of use, appearance both before and after being wiped off, and consistency were *exactly* the same as the CG product. The scent was similar.

I couldn't tell you if it was sans abrasives like DWG though, or contained the minimal amount that EZ Creme has. I can tell you that I'd rather send my business to Danase than PB's though.

PB's claim is it's not a acrylic formula and the DWG and CG is....also the last time I spoke with Paul at CG's ..ez creme is now a straight type glaze without a light cleaner ...I still get mine from Danase as he ships fast and I get it in 2-3 days tops...Bob is top notch

Wolfgang is overpriced, I rather just pick up menzerna.

DWG is simply outstanding, not to mention, so is Danase service.

So somewhere between 0% and 5% is the difference between two completely different chemical make ups, ie- acrylic and non acrylic? I guess the confusion could have been cleared up if you asked Steve yourself about the contents in the glazes.

I'm not going to go off topic on the forum, but I would suggest that you pick up some trim restorer, CG Liquid Extreme Shine, nattys and XXX paste, and then tell me if you believe Steve or your own eyes.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, would you trust someone with a direct financial stake who said it was a goose?

So how much hiding does EZ Creme/Black Hole Glaze do? Been thinking about picking up a glaze.....

Not a whole lot compared to the oil glazes. Gloss is excellent, but hiding is minimal. If you want a glaze for moderate hiding between polishings, RMG is probably the best out there.

Hello,

Im not sure i totally agree, i have played and posted about many many glazes on here and various other forums.

RMG's main claim to fame is that creates a melting ice like wet gloss, not the faux super wet look. But most of all it increases the metalic and pearl flakes. Its too thin to provide any real cover up.

If you are working with sealants, not WG or the Poorboys one (they work with oil based glazes) and you want to fill your swirls etc. then you have to choose PRIMA AMIGO.

If you are using a nuba topper something like CK Vanilla Moose hand glaze, Meguiars Hand Glaze, Yellow Moose Wax, Mothers Sealer and Glaze all provide excellent filling.

CG EZ GLAZE, Danase, Jorgens garage, what ever you want to call that purple grape stuff doesnt fill very well. It creates a wet gloss, darkens the paintwork and mutes metalic pop more then i would like. But there are people, and circumstances when creating wet look regardless for original paintwork colour and optics dont count or are prefered. I even used a whole bottle already!
