Wo Ho! 58+F - Time for BFWD

Cool Bill, it will definitely help for sure and the shine is just amazing. You may have said already but what do they use on the roads there for the snow/ice?

This! It's calcium chloride! Highly corrosive! Just some nasty stuff. When it dries, the streets turn WHITE and they are like that all winter! HATE THAT.....

I wiped some sweat from my mouth and tasted the stuff... Pure SALT.:banghead: (Now you know why I do ONR washes so often.)

That is some serious stuff for sure and a car buff/detailer's nightmare as I'm sure the under carriage gets coated big time. I know a lot of GT500 owners who live up north put theirs away until spring and there has been a lot of good rains to wash that stuff off the roads.

Yeah, the Vettes won't see any road time until April. Even if it's warm and sunny (which is is sometimes here in winter), that salt brine dust is always there and gets in the wheel wells, frame, undercarriage, etc. It's hard not to get one of them out when we have one of those mid winter 65 degree days!!!!
