Wish me Luck !! I am going to need it

Napalm, Jesstzn, edschwab1,

Really nice work on all three of those vehicles:bow Don't you just love the way a PC "can't correct" paint:rolleyes: It obviously can with the right pads and products and some effort. Good job:up

wow, please tell me how you did that and what tools you used. if you have already, sorry. cuz i have a jeep thats horrible, almost as horrible as your before pic so ide like to know what has to be done to fix it. thats amazing work!

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Again, this was only the second car that I used my PC on. Could not have done it without all the wonderful info on this forum. Now I'm walking through the parking lot at work and looking at the paint jobs thinking "Man, I'd like to try doin' that one".

I used to dread just waxing a car, now waxing is the easiest part.

I would have done two things different if I had to start over.

(1) Have spare pads, I about wore out my orange pad (backing plate started cutting into foam) plus it kind of got clogged towards the end.

(2) Use a little bit more aggressive pad (Maybe a purple Megs pad)

(3) Would have like to have tried AIO. Lots of good things have been said about that product although I dont know where it would have fit in to the order of products I used.

I tried to use a Concours finishing bonnet over a dry white pad,,,did not work worth a darn. Tried it from 1-3 on the PC and it would stall the pad with very little pressure applied, even just the machine weight. Scrapped that idea and just used a mf to buff out/off.

As far as the questions above:

Used orange LC pad with DACP (2-3) passes

White LC pad and Menzerna FP (1) pass

NXT (2 coats)DACP
