Wipers sticking a bit

The wiper on the drivers side seems to stick a bit unless the window is totally soaked, or during a downpour. I usually have the wipers set to rain sensor mode but lately I've had to manually trigger it every 30 seconds to a minute.

I've tried claybar, invisible glass and just washing it with Z7 with the rest of the car. I also tried rain-x but that makes glare and headlight halos. Still the wiper on the drivers side seems to stick at several locations on each swipe, almost like chatter but it isn't jumping. The blade is 5 months old maybe, it is one of those smart blades and the indicator is still black.

Anything else short of replacing my overpriced wiper blade that is still supposedly good?

I use the rainx windshield washer product and I've noticed that it causes my wipers to chatter quite a bit if they are on anything more than intermitent. Anyone else have this problem? I also had it when I used rainx and it was time to reapply, does rainx build up so bad that you need to take it off with some other product?

I wipe the blades down with a little rubbing alcohol each time I clean my windshield. I've never had any problems.

Before you purchase new wiper blades, try using wet sandpaper on both sides of the blade, use water as lube. Start at one end and end at the other, about 8-12 X's.:nixweiss
