Should I use cleaning Pad or finishing pad for the filler in Z-5 to work?

I did answer your question in my post - sealants should be used with finishing pads. Neither pad is needed for Z5 Pro to work properly, but if you choose to apply it with a PC, use a finishing pad.

Thanks!

Now before applying Zaino what pad should I use to remove the spider webbing

and swirl marks that became more obvious today! :(

Should I start with IP or FPII to remove those? and what pad should I use

as the car got polished allot of time in the past more than 3 times in the past

3 months!

Or should I just stick with Z-5 to fill them "They are allover the car now!" :nixweiss

Mr. Houdini-

Nice M6!

I think you may need to adjust your wash process, otherwise you will perpetually have swirls. Swirls or marring are usaully introduced during washing or drying with the incorrect technique.

What are you using to wash your car and what is your process. Black requires a little more attention to keep swirl free. Are you QD'ing between washes??? On a slightly dusty black car and QD wipe down could be a bad idea.

For polishing out the swirls try FPII first with a white polishing pad, then move up to IP if the FPII does not remove the swirls. The z5 has "some" filling ability, but it's not a swirl remover, they will be back.

Stick with zaino for the winter, the durability and looks are there for quite a while.

Here are some tips for applying zaino http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en

Why are you driving an M6 in the winter? :nixweiss

Good luck-

Hello there SHICKS

Thanks and I am really careful when it comes to washing!

I use 2 rinse only pockets and a foam gun and a sheepskin wash mitt that is always

clean, I apply to all of the car first bug & tar remover on low panels and then

soap up the car with a foam gun and rise it, and then I soup up my wash mitt

and glide it over the surface / panel at a time and rinse in the rinse bucket,

I also use the foam gun ahead of the matt while sliding it over the finish of the car

so there will be enough lubrication, trust me I am careful! :)

As far as driving in winter time, I didn't put that much money into a car

to leave it parked! :)

I will be driving it when it is not snowing as in DC area snow is not that much

those few past years, its been snowing like 4 times only the past year!

I also have an X5 on stand by if its snowing bad.
