There is no cure!
just wondering! are there any windshield washer liquids that are safe and wont etch, strip any wax? whenever i use my washer i notce a good amount actualy gets on the car with the wipers. the blue liquid stuff smells solventy. could this do anything bad for the car. ive been suing water for now.

Most windshield washer fluids contain a methanol solvent base to give it protection against freezing. Some contain isopropyl alcohol for the same reason.

If you are concerned, you can try these:

Dwayne may be able to get you the same thing.

There are probably some other concentrates that are also safer for your finish. Keep in mind that you will have to add "something" to keep everything from freezing. (if you live where it freezes)

Hi Joyride,

I use P21s Windshield Washer Booster,I have found it doesnt leave streaks or residue on the glass or paint.

I cant really comment on etching as my car gets washed at least weekly so there isnt time for etching.

I see that Autogeek sells it, not sure of any others.

Cheers
Dave.

tried soemthing new today. rag on if u feel the need to. lol.

i mixed 4 ounces of spray and wipe alone with a gallon of water and it seems to work great. cleaned the bugs off alright and didnt streak...

I LOVE DETAILING.
i find myself everyday comparing everythign to detailing. I GOT THE BUG BAD!
